Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, upscale apartment community Element Uptown had a problem: units along the backside of the building were not getting leased as quickly as apartments with more picturesque views. They needed a luxurious look that appealed to their millennial and empty-nester community.

CORT's Solution

From the phone call to the install, Element Uptown had a fully-furnished model unit that they were proud to show to potential tenants within 48 hours. Element Uptown opted to include home accessories for the unit, including bathroom towels, artwork and rugs to give the apartment a move-in ready feel, giving tenants a picture of what life could be like living at Element Uptown.

The Result

All units along the backside of the apartment building have been leased, saving Element Uptown $64,800 every month in rent that would have otherwise gone unpaid. After all units had been leased on the backside of the building, Element Uptown asked CORT to move the furniture to a second model unit that was having a hard time attracting new leases. There are currently only three units left to lease.
